About chronos

Three Decades.

Three Paradigms.

One Mission.

Three Decades.
Three Paradigms.
One Mission.

To redefine recovery outcomes for chronic conditions by delivering multi-system mind-body therapies that are effective, safe and accessible — fully virtual without compromising clinical depth or results.

To stand with those who refuse to give up on their health, even after being dismissed, disappointed, or told to “live with it.”

To ensure no one remains trapped in chronic pain and persistent symptoms due to fragmented and ineffective medical care.

Recovery-Focused Virtual Care

Chronos was built to solve a problem I saw every day — people with chronic symptoms falling through the cracks of conventional care. They wait months for appointments. They're shuffled between specialists and locations. They receive conflicting advice and medications that mask symptoms without addressing root causes. Over time, care fragments, conditions deteriorate, or patients are left to cope alone. The gap between standard medical care and the advances in functional medicine and pain neuroscience inspired the Chronos mission: to make effective, integrated care more accessible.

I’m Jarvia Foxter, Recovery Specialist and Founder of Chronos. My dual career spans over three decades across hospital, clinical and virtual practice. I focus on precision diagnostic analysis and a systems-based approach, with targeted treatments and rehab for measurable outcomes that accelerate recovery and optimise health.

I qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Liverpool (1998) and later as an Osteopath with First Class Distinction from the British School of Osteopathy, London (2008). My hospital experience includes Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology, Emergency & Trauma, Surgery, Pain Medicine, and Forensic Imaging. Clinically, I specialise in multiple treatments, therapies & rehab for: acute and chronic pain, injuries, movement-biomechanics-fitness, immune & metabolic health, mind-brain-body regulation and healthy lifestyle.

Chronos was created to bridge the gap.
An effective systems-based approach for chronic conditions translates seamlessly to virtual care, which is how I can support you from anywhere in the world.

My Journey
From Scans to Solutions

Scan & Fix Era

Beginning as a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiographer across the full spectrum of hospital care, including ER, surgery, outpatients, critical care and post-mortum imaging, I trusted the medical model: scan the problem, see the problem, then fix it with medication or surgery. It seemed logical and complete.

After working with hundreds of thousands of people, reviewing their scans, and assisting in thousands of surgical and pain procedures across London's premium private clinics & major trauma teaching hospitals, one truth became undeniable: scans and surgery did not always explain or resolve chronic pain.

Severe structural findings frequently presented without symptoms, while technically flawless operations often left patients in persistent pain. That disconnect didn’t shake my faith in medicine, it redirected my curiosity. If the structural model couldn’t always explain or resolve chronic conditions, was something fundamental missing in how we understood chronic problems and recovery?

Mind-Body Era

Years of personal Buddhist study, Vipassana meditation and competitive sport revealed something Western medicine rarely acknowledged: the inseparable relationship between the mind, emotions, movement, food and life experience with physcial health. I pursued this mechanism through functional and mind–body medicine, qualifying as an Osteopath, Medical Acupuncturist and Rehabilitater, then completing fifteen postgraduate trainings over the next two decades.

My central London clinic gained recognition for back pain recovery and I was voted Best for Back Pain by Londoners in TimeOut. But those with chronic pain still troubled me. Their outcomes were often unpredictable, which left me feeling more frustared than them. The missing pieces emerged through my training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Metabolic Therapy, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Chronic conditions required a level of integration I had previously underestimated, and they proved far more responsive when approached at this deeper multi-dimensional, mulit-system level.

Virtual Care Era

The pandemic created an unexpected breakthrough. In 2020, COVID forced my clinic online, a necessary pivot that removed access to every physical treatment I had relied on for over 15 years. Working exclusively with metabolic, neuroplastic, psychological and somatic approaches, I expected outcomes to suffer. They didn’t. Chronic patients in particular showed significant improvement, challenging my long-held assumptions about the necessity for physical contact & treatment.

Then came a personal catalyst: hearing my own family in rural areas describe the outdated advice and ineffective care they received for chronic pain, autoimmune, and metabolic conditions. That clinical and personal collision clarified a single mission: to build Chronos, a fully virtual clinic, integrating three decades of diagnostic precision, functional medicine, pain neuroscience and rehabilitation into one complete recovery system, accessible to anyone, anywhere, who is ready for change and something better.
